Kick ‘Em When They’re Down: The B’s Knees

Well…that was a little more like it, now wasn’t it? A 6-1 win against a quality (albeit Leastern Conference) opponent.  Determination in all three zones, bearing down, in front….THAT was Red Wing hockey.  And with the return of getting to see Red Wing hockey, I thought I would bring about the return of a little piece I like to call “Kick ‘Em When They’re Down” – where I go to the opposition’s blog of my choice and pick a few comments that I find particularly amusing. I hope you agree.

Today, we’ll be using Stanley Cup of Chowder over at SBN and their live blog from last night…

As you know…the party started early last night.

ugh, i tune in and that’s what i get

Don’t feel bad Tom, you’ve got a cool user name.  MST3K ranks up there with Seinfeld and the Simpsons for greatest shows of the 90’s.  But that’s neither here nor there.

PURE domination by the red wings so far

western conference owns the bruins and the rest of the east i guess

Bad fan?  Or is this Mikol just a realist?

The Bruins matchup horribly against this team.

Here’s the comment of the post from our boy Servo…

Womp Womp

And this was with plenty of time left in the game…the line pretty much went dead over there after that.  But I’ll leave you with this last one…

Its games like this that remind me…even if the Bruins were to somehow get to the Stanley cup, regardless of the year, the B’s chances of actually beating a quick and talented west coast team are slim.

Ahhh the sweet taste of dominating victory…how I’ve missed you.
