Detroit vs St. Louis: Again Already!

Let’s pretend last night never happened, just like the refs pretended that Jonathan Toews actually deserved a penalty shot.

Tonight the Wings take on the Blues in Detroit. It will be the 2nd game of their 2nd straight back-to-backs. We need these two points.

Puck drops at 7 pm on FSD.

We can beat the Blues. We did it the other night and we will do it again tonight.

How about Nyquist? Imagine what he could do on a line with Pav or Z.

Discussion of the day: With the depth that the Wings have what do you think will or should happen when Eaves, Holmstrom, Mursak and Conner are healthy? Commodore is stepping up, but Kindl and Smith are both very capable, that gives us 8 solid defenseman. Nyquist is certainly an NHL player, and Conner made his case playing with Helm, Mursak and Emmerton both can’t be sent down. That gives you 16 forwards. What would you do?
