Wings Changing Up Power Play

So after five games and a 16.7% power play, the Wings have decided to split up the Eurotwins on the PP.  Here’s what the new lines look like without Raffi:

Line 1: Franzen/Datsyuk/Holmstrom – Lidstrom/Modano

Line 2: Zetterberg/Hulder/Bertuzzi(Filppula) – Kronwall/Kindl

Babcock doesn’t think the Wings haven’t been shooting enough:

“When you’re on the power play, it’s great that you want to give it to everyone else because you’re a young guy and you’re respectful, but he’s got a great shot,” Babcock said. “The best power play is when you shoot it and go get it back and shoot it and go get it back.”

What else are the Wings going to do to get better?  Strangely enough, the answer is watch the Wild, a team known for its defense…

“(The Minnesota Wild) is 38 percent on the power play, so we better watch Minny and see what they’re doing because, obviously, they’re doing a better job than us.”

I think all that needs to happen is Homer needs to get his act together and things will be humming along just fine.
