Almost Time for Tickets

From DetroitRedWings.com:

Tickets to see every Original Six team at Joe Louis Arena go on sale Friday, August 27, as the 11-time Stanley Cup champion Red Wings begin selling single-game tickets for the entire 2010-11 season.

Cool.

In addition to the entire season of single-game seats, the Red Wings will begin selling the popular $9 ticket for select games in September, October and November. The $9 ticket will only be available for purchase at the JLA box office with a limit of two tickets per person.

Oh hell yes – I’ve taken advantage of these little beauties for 2 seasons now.  There are ways of getting around that “two per person”…trust me.

Reserved seats are priced at $25, $38, $48, $53, $58, $65 and $85 for most games while select contests, including games against Pittsburgh, Washington and Chicago, are variably priced. Additionally, full-season ticket packages, Gordie Howe 9-Game Plans and the Steve Yzerman 19-Game Plans are also available. Special group packages of 20-or-more tickets are available through the Red Wings’ Group Sales Department by calling 313-396-7575.

Fans can purchase single-game tickets for the entire 2010-11 season beginning at 10 a.m. EDT on Friday at JLA, all TicketMaster locations, including Hockeytown Café, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy, or charge by phone at 800-745-3000.  Fans also can purchase tickets via the Internet by visiting DetroitRedWings.com.

Let’s get on it, people.
