DETROIT — The Red Wings have re-signed forward Drew Miller to a one-year contract.
No details were given at this time. Miller made $525,000 last year and is probably due for a raise after setting career highs in goals (10) assists (9) and points (19) in 66 games with Detroit last season. Detroit picked up the former Spartan off the waiver wire from the Tampa Bay Lightning on November 11th, 2009.
So is this a two-way deal? For how much?
If you ask me, Miller did the smartest thing (personally) by getting his name inked in before any of the other RFA’s. He’s in officially now…unless Detroit plans to trade his contract, of course.
That’s one down…how many more to go? Hopefully, all of them.

Not bad, Kenny….not bad at all.
