Lupul Out for Ducks Tonight

From NHL.com

The Ducks will be without red-hot winger Joffrey Lupul when they take on the Detroit Red Wings tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

Lupul, who has scored four times during a three-game goal streak since returning from a seven-game absence caused by back spasms, will be sidelined this time because of problems with a leg.

Lupul played the other side of the Perry-Getlaf line.  Now it looks like former Red Wing bust Kyle Calder may fill that spot.

Some good news at last!  Calder sucked.  You may remember him as the guy we traded for at the deadline, sending Jason Williams to Chicago in 2007.  Calder was supposed to provide us with grit.  Instead, he provided us with nothing and spent the majority of the play-offs in the press box as a healthy scratch.
